Dear International Guests

Whenever I have time to spare, I ask everyone where they have been in Japan and in the Tokyo area, and what places they would like to visit.

We have found that many of our guests prefer Japanese-style "cities" and "towns with ancient Japanese scenes" and Japanese food, such as sushi, tempura, vegetable dishes, fish dishes, soba noodles, and for the younger ones, good ramen restaurants. I will soon be posting maps and guides of the places I know and love in Japan. I have also asked a liquor wholesaler with whom I do business for my bar to recommend restaurants that are close to Shibuya (e.g., one train stop or a 20-minute walk) and that serve Japanese cuisine and are welcoming to tourists.

If anyone reads this page and would like to get some information, please ask me when you come to this bar. We will guide you when we have time to spare.

Dear Overseas Customer

Since last November, more and more people have been coming to the bar, mainly tourists from overseas and people staying in Japan for business, and we have been enjoying our bar everyday since January.We have many customers who have finally been able to come again after a four-year absence. We are truly grateful to all of you.

 Please note that this bar is closed on Sundays and Japanese national holidays. March 21, April 29, May 3, 4, and 5 are Japanese national holidays. in June, the bar will be open on all days except Sunday.

Many of our customers also want to drink Japanese whiskey, so we have a variety of brands other than Suntory and Nikka. From March 20, we will start serving spring strawberry cocktails. From March 20, we will start serving spring strawberry cocktails: gin and tonic and highball made with frozen strawberries. We have also started[ Old Fashion] cocktails in March, as requested by many customers.

The owner will take music requests when he is available after your order has been served. Customers who want to know in advance what artists are available can visit our my records page. we have about 3500 LP records to burn and 2200 7" single records. 70% are rock, pop, soundtracks, soul music 15%, jazz and world, and Latin music 10%, and about 5% Japanese rock.

 
On Fridays, the city is full of people, but when they do, this bar is surprisingly uncrowded. I think it is because many young people come here from regional cities in Japan to have fun. They are often wandering around with nowhere to go.

We try our best to make it enjoyable for everyone.

※Our bar does not have a large number of people. Depending on the crowd on any given day(especially on Fridays and Saturdays), we may not allow more than 4 people to enter this bar after 23:30. Since we do not have a large stock space for ice and beer, we may run out of them. We also need to make sure that we have enough for all the guests who will be coming at that time.

Above all, there are many customers who want to spend a restful time in the time before this bar closes, and we do not allow large groups of customers (even Japanese) to enter this bar because it is inevitably noisy for these people.

After 23:30, customers who want to spend a quiet time with two to three people are welcome.

However, when the Japanese government and media start making a fuss about the increasing number of patients about Covid 19, more and more office workers are stopped by their workplaces and find it difficult to go out and drink, so it is open even on Fridays and Saturdays.We expect it will probably not be crowded every day in December either.

And the cats that live with my wife and I are hungry and lonely and waiting for us, so we have to clean up and leave early after closing.

The pointless immigration restrictions are finally over, individual travelers are being accepted, and since mid-October, the number of visitors from overseas has been gradually increasing here in the bar. They are all really nice people.

Dear customers living overseas

Imagine if you've ever come to this bar or want to come sometime, everyone is having a tough time.

The situation in Japan has calmed down considerably. We have successfully resumed business this June. 

We are now having very tough days.

But I'm living now, dreaming of the day when you all come to Japan and try to come to this bar.

We really thank our customers for coming. And I am grateful that we also had fun memories.
